Annual Deerfield Beach City Art Festival Has It Been Canceled Because of the Wind

Deerfield Beach – The Deerfield Beach Cultural Committee had to abolish last year'south Festival of the Arts because of the COVID pandemic. This year was all-systems get, until a spike in cases caused the metropolis to cancel its January events.
The dilemma: What to do?
The answer: Combine the festival with Pioneer Days; the joint celebration will take place Feb. nineteen, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Feb. 20, 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. The art fest will close Sabbatum at vi p.thou.
With a singled-out entrance separating the simultaneous events and iii stages providing live entertainment throughout the unabridged weekend, there will exist plenty to do.

"We are excited that they were able to partner with Pioneer Days, and we are looking forward to having a successful event."
On the Pioneer Days side of the entrance in the Chief Beach Parking Lot volition be a gratuitous kids' zone with a stone wall and bounce houses and The Deerfield Beach Historical Social club'south tent volition be filled with displays from the metropolis'south past.
Karen Hardy, active in the customs for a number of years, is the current chair of the committee, which is responsible for obtaining the exhibiting artists. On the return of the art fest she said, "I am then excited to be able to keep the cultural arts alive in our community."
Working in all mediums, the artists and craftsmen are selected by the committee and are eligible for cash awards. Judging is done on Saturday morning.

Gabriela Gamperl, a longtime committee volunteer, oversees the fine art festival's kids' craft corner and an art display featuring the work of local school students.
In add-on to the art vendors, an array of food and beverages will be sold. The three beverage tents will be managed by the Deerfield Beach Historical Society, Rotary of Deerfield Beach, and the Deerfield Beach Kiwanis Guild. These non profits use the proceeds to fund community charities.
Tiffany O'Bryan, cultural committee publicity chair, describes the festival every bit having a "fun, beachy vibe. We're back to being a community in the outdoors. Come have a party with us. Pioneer Days parade details
The parade lineup begins at Pioneer Park [217 NE five Ave] and travels south on Northeast six Avenue to State Road 810 [Hillsboro Boulevard].
